Simple Christmas

God is so good! We had an amazing Christmas week. We started off last week by beginning our series, "Simple Christmas" which included our first Christmas Program with the children from our Kid's JAM ministry. Deborah Marsden, the Kid's JAM leaders, Eric Durham, and the kiddos did an outstanding job!

Last night we had a Christmas Eve Candlelight service in an outdoor ampitheatre. About 80 people braved the cold to honor our Savior, Jesus Christ, through scripture, worship, and prayer.

A special thanks to our "Dream Team" for making Christmas so special for the Zengerles. You guys are too much...

Where would we be without our prince of peace this Christmas? Take some time to thank Emmanuel for his grace, mercy, and peace. May God bless you all.

We had an incredible Men's Mountain Retreat to launch our HP Men's Ministry this past weekend. We had an amazing time hanging out doing "manly stuff". We learned about leading from the mountain top.

In Exodus, Moses went up to Mount Sinai and appeared before God and God appeared before Moses. God was giving Moses direction so he could lead God's people. Today, God needs men to lead from the "Mountain Top". We need to lead in our homes, the marketplace, and the world. This world needs us to be the mighty men that God created us to be. Our families, our neighbors, and a lost and hurting world are counting on us. I encourage you to be bold and fearless for God!

We will begin having HP Men's breakfasts the first Saturday of every month from 7-9 a.m. beginning January 3rd. Location still being determined. Call 833-3333 with questions regarding HP Men.

Thanksgiving Outreach

What an incredible day, God is so amazing!! You were all a part of serving 347 people today! In Mexico, we cooked lunch and played games with children at an orphanage; we served many more families at a colonia in Plazuela de Acuna. Another team went and served lunch at the Rescue Mission in El Paso.

Today we were truly living out our vision "to be a healing place for a hurting world". I'm so amazed at the tireless efforts of our team. We are honored to be making an impact in this broken world...Jesus Style!

Sold out,
Buck and Esther

Baptisms

This weekend we had our first ever HPC El Paso Baptism! Our oldest daughter, Elise, was the very first person we baptized at the church. It was awesome.

Here are a couple of pictures of the event.
