Mexico Missions

Great time in Juarez with a mission's team from HPC Highland Rd. We have been able to do many things such as vacation bible school, work projects, and community outreach; but bonding with the children at the orphanage has been such a blessing. Tonight we were able to have an outdoor service with incredible worship, really cool ballet and dramas, and a good word!

We were able to pray for dozens at the altar call and to finish the evening off, we fed about 350 people good ol' American hotdogs and chips. Advancing the Kingdom is as easy as meeting the need and sharing the story of Christ with people that are hungry!

One girl

This little girl came up to me with such a beautiful smile and just began to hug and hold me. She stole my heart and this is the image I will keep with me from my trip to Africa.

This beautiful girl represents hope in a land of hopelessness. We loved on each other, but she marked me for life. It is for this girl that we strive to run the race marked out for us.

Swaziland

We were able to train 350+ pastors at our first Go Global Leadership Conference. The event was called, "This is Africa: One Hope. One Heart. One Promise." We encouraged the pastors to take their nation for Jesus Christ. We told them that they were, "Plan A" and there was no "Plan B". I was able to encourage them to get a God-sized vision, a vision beyond them, and to hang on to it...no matter the cost.

So many opportunities to help bring the message of hope to a country that is reeling in hopelessness.

Swaziland is one of the most hurting countries in all of the world. They have lost 1/3 of the population of the entire country in the last five years due to HIV Aids.

Almost 1 person out of every two is infected with the virus. Leaving a country full of orphans with little hope of survival.

God cares for the poor and brokenhearted and uses us to reach them with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. We can truly make a difference for The Kingdom as we live out the mission of Healing Place Church, "to be a healing place for a hurting world".
