Day 30: Love Him
Deuteronomy 6:4-5
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus replied with this. Love God, and the second was love your neighbor as yourself.
So, as we close out this 30 days of prayer and fasting, meditate on this word. We don't love God or others because of our goodness. We love because we were loved first by a boundless and infinite saviour.
Let's end with this simple truth. Love God. Love others, and you won't be disappointed.
